Cappella Magna: Notable Stage Items
These items can only be seen if you have the Milky Way Map in your possession. Otherwise, you won't be able to see these items or even open the map at all. You can follow the link to learn how to obtain this map.
To start off, there are three Rosaries further south of the starting area. Rosaries are quite useful since they can clear all enemies on the screen instantly upon pickup while retaining the valuable experience gems (unlike the Pentagram that erases everything - unless upgraded).

Additionally, there are three passive items that you can collect here as well, ready for pickup.
- Crown - North of the starting point.
- Tiragisu - North of the starting point.
- Duplicator - South of the starting point.
There are four hidden items as well though you can only see them on your map once you have obtained the Yellow Sign and defeated the secret boss of the stage (The Ender). Take note that these hidden items are guarded by powerful caped enemies. These guys will take a while before you can defeat them and they can easily kill you if you let them touch you so keep moving after collecting these items.
- Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right - Both can be found together, west of the starting point.
- Silver Ring and Gold Ring - Both are found east of the starting point.

The coffin of Zi'Assunta Belpaese is also found in this stage and will appear as a question mark if you have the Milky Way Map.

Finally, the stage has destructible stained windows that will explode after breaking them, dealing high AoE damage to any enemies within its range. These windows will appear randomly throughout the stage and you can tell them since they're "blinking" or phasing in regular intervals.
How to Unlock Hyper Mode in Cappella Magna
Like the other standard stages in the game, you can unlock Hyper Mode in Cappella Magna by defeating the stage boss called Trinacia which will spawn in the 25:00 minute timer in normal mode. Enabling Hyper Mode will increase the gold and luck multiplier by +90% and 10% respectively.
How to Defeat the Drowner in Cappella Magna
The main bane of this stage is the blue reaper called The Drowner . This pesky death will produce a damaging pool of water that will just continuously go up the stage, forcing you to continue heading up and leaving any chests or experience gems behind. It's also annoying that you can't directly attack it since it will keep a fixed distance away from you.

The only way to deal with the drowner is using the Pentagram weapon. Christine Davain starts off with this weapon; however, if you're using other characters, you have to make sure that you select this weapon and focus on upgrading it first while surviving the waves of enemies. If your pentagram activates while the Drowner is within the screen, its water level will be removed permanently during the run. The Drowner will still remain on the screen but won't be able to do anything so triggering the pentagram again will eliminate this pesky reaper. Once that's done, you're free to explore the stage. It's also worth noting that defeating the Drowner once is enough to permanently stop it from spawning in this stage on your future runs so taking it out should be your primary priority.
